Recorded in TaƱon Strait (Ref. 107276), Verde Island Passage (Ref. 107854), Leyte Gulf (Ref. 68980), Calamianes Islands, northern Palawan (Ref. 48613), Sibuyan, Romblon (Ref. 58652), Lanuza Bay (Ref. 104756), and Bantayan Is. in northern Cebu (Ref. 114734). One specimen caught by angling off Calauit I., FRLM 12060. Also Ref. 393, 2334, 13724, 37603, 107852, 121724.
