Type locality: Fremantle, between Carnac Island and Gage Roads, Western Australia (Ref. 46206). Known from the southern and southwestern coast of Australia from Wilsons Promontory (146°30'E) to Rottnest Island (32°00'S); not recorded from Tasmania.
