पृष्ठीय रीढ़ (सम्पूर्ण): 0; पृष्ठीय सौफट रेज़ (सम्पूर्ण): 12; गुदा कांटा 0; ऐनल सौफट रेज़: 8. No scale in the predorsal area; 8-11 faint dark bars on a yellowish brown background, in the predorsal area usually wider and not meeting their homologues on the dorsal mid-line; in life, caudal fin with bright orange dorsal and ventral margins (Ref. 27732).

Found in clear, fast water on gravel to pebble substrate (Ref. 27732).
