Description
Annual temperature varies between 17.0 and 29.0°C at the surface. DO varies between 9.2 and 15.2 mg/l. Originally a natural lake but was transformed into a reservoir by dam construction in 1953 by the Turkish State Water Supply. Lake water is used as irrigation water by Sahlili and Golmarmara plains.
