Épines dorsales (Total): 0; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total): 9-10; Épines anales 0; Rayons mous anaux: 8 - 9. Large bluish spots and 4 vague darker vertical bars (1st across eye, 4th on caudal peduncle).
Found in weedy areas of quiet waters (Ref. 4919).
