Morphologie | Morphométrie
Rayons mous dorsaux (Total): 10-11; Vertèbres: 34 - 37. Distinguished from all its congeners and all remaining characid fishes by the presence of a broad, well-defined dark longitudinal stripe and longitudinal series of dark blotches along the dorsal and lateral surfaces of body (more developed above the longitudinal dark stripe) (Ref. 56956).
Found in a waterfall pool (Ref. 56956).
