Description synthétique
Morphologie | Morphométrie
Épines dorsales (Total): 7; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total): 10; Épines anales 1; Rayons mous anaux: 10. Second dorsal fin with 10 segmented rays; first dorsal fin with spine 4 filamentous in males; male with 10 dusky bars laterally from pectoral base extending posteriorly hypural base; and female with 8 or 9 dusky bars being shorter than male.
Found in a small stream close to the sea. Habitat is assumed to be similar to other related species which prefer clear rather swift waters in areas of rocks and boulders.
