पृष्ठीय रीढ़ (सम्पूर्ण): 1; पृष्ठीय सौफट रेज़ (सम्पूर्ण): 6; ऐनल सौफट रेज़: 14 - 16. Presence of a large black blotch in the distal half of the anterior dorsal-fin rays and membranes. Basal portion of the lower labial extension is uniformly widened and flat compared to other Leptodoras (Ref. 56896).
Collected from the main channels of large rivers and often associated with large sandy beaches (Ref. 56896).
