Rückenflossenstacheln (insgesamt): 0; Rückenflossenweichstrahlen (insgesamt): 31-34; Afterflossenstacheln 0; Afterflossenweichstrahlen: 23 - 26. Lateral line generally present. Dorsal profile of head between eyes flat or slightly convex, not notably arched. Dorsal and anal fins with scales.
