Espinas dorsales (total): 0; Radios blandos dorsales (total): 16-18; Espinas anales 0; Radios blandos anales: 13 - 15; Vértebra: 21 - 22. Body covered with prickles; dark brown with many round white spots dorsally. A large round black blotch edged with a white line on side just behind pectoral fin (Ref. 559).
