पृष्ठीय रीढ़ (सम्पूर्ण): 13 - 15; पृष्ठीय सौफट रेज़ (सम्पूर्ण): 9-11; गुदा कांटा 3; ऐनल सौफट रेज़: 7 - 10; जानवरों की रीड़ का जोड़: 27. Lower pharyngeal bone short. Pharyngeal teeth in adult including a group of enlarged, flattened teeth. Scales of chest and belly very small, non-imbrication but contiguous. Scales of flank with rugose calculi in the exposed part. Scales on cheek in 2 or 3 series. No micro-branchiospines.
