পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ): 0; পায়ূ কাঁটা 0. Nostrils immediately anterior to eye. Pyloric caeca 16 to 20. Color is reddish pink to pale brown dorsally, becoming lighter ventrally; dorsal, anal, and caudal fins dark-edged.
