Etymology: Seriolella: Latin word diminutive with the meaning of a large earthenware pot (Ref. 45335).
This species has no status in Eschmeyer (CofF ver. Jul. 2010: Ref. 84883), but is placed in the genus Seriolella. Please send references, or more studies are needed.
