Additional Characters Shell surface is uniformly covered with 74-200 spinules, 0.07-0.12 mm long (Ref. 36576). Yolk is homogeneous (Ref. 36576). Melanophores develop on embryo, primarily on dorsum and ventrally on tail; melanophores simultaneously develop on yolk adjacent to embryo (Ref. 36576).
