Comments | This has been introduced to areas within the country for aquaculture and stocking in open waters however, it failed to establish self-sustaining populations (Ref. 45022). Introduced to the Amur basin (Ref. 13397, 26334). Its natural reproduction is recorded in the Terek as well as in the Kuban and some other rivers (Ref. 26334). Also Ref. 1739, 9987.
