Comments Escaped from experimental baitfish tanks to the sea. Presently abundant around Oahu island were it is often mistakenly identified as O. mossambicus (Ref. 6349). May be feeding in part on young nehu. Fishermen often catch them in seines with nehu and apparently damage the nehu (Ref. 6362).     Ref:  Maciolek, J.A., 1984
