Known from Guangdong Province in Dong Jiang and Bei Jiang drainages (Ref. 33450). Also found in the Zhujiang River (=Pearl River) and the Changjiang River (=Yangtze River) (Ref. 26563). Present in Pearl River (Ref. 89718).
Known from Lechang county of Beijiang river system in Guangdong Province(Ref.33450).
