Max. size:  26.4 cm SL (female)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 18 - 350 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: northwest of Matthew Island and north of Nunivak Island in the Bering Sea to Amchitka Island in the Aleutian chain and Washington, USA.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 11-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 28-29; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 28-29. Caudal fin small. Pelvic fins small.
Biology:  Found on flat bottoms (Ref. 2850).
IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated (N.E.) Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Ranges from northwest of Matthew I. and north of Nunivak I. in the Bering Sea to Amchitka I. in the Aleutian chain and Hinchinbrook I. in the northern Gulf of Alaska (Ref. 6793). Also Ref. 4925, 6876, 6885, 11366, 27436.
