Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: endemic to Thailand.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits mainstream rivers in sandy shore. Carnivorous, feeding on benthic microfauna (Ref. 58784). Length type is assumed in TL.

Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Known only from Peninsular Thailand, Tapi and Pattani basins (Ref. 58784). Threatened due to habitat loss (Ref. 58784). Type locality, Khlong Sok on highway 410, 5 km west of Phanom, Tapi basin, Surat Thani Province (Ref. 50838). Status of threat: Critically Endangered (Ref. 58784).
