Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): -7; Anal soft rays: -16; Vertebrae: -37. Endopterygoid present; principal caudal fin rays 8+9; hypural fusion pattern of caudal fin PH;1+2;3+4+5. Branchiostegal rays 8; gill rakers 17; swim bladder reduced or absent; emarginate to weakly forked caudal fin; deeply notched adipose fin; head length 25.4% of SL; pelvic fin length 12.4% of SL.
Biology:  Cave-restricted species.
