Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Japan (Ref. 559) and Korea (Ref. 38401).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-11; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 6-9; Vertebrae: 35-38
Biology:  Found in lakes of plains, pools on flood plains, and lentic irrigation canals, on mud or sand-mud bottoms (Ref. 41299). Feeds on benthic invertebrates (Ref. 41299).
