Distribution:  Asia: Malay Peninsula (Singapore and Johore) and Indonesia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits large streams and rivers with black water (Ref. 56749).

Country info:  Known from Sumatra (Gunung Sahilan, Taluk, Semangus River, Palembang, Moesi) and Borneo (Baram, Kapuas), Banka, and Biliton. Found in the Kapuas Lakes area in Kalimantan Barat, Borneo (Ref. 56749). Recorded from Danau Sentarum National Park in the Kapuas basin, Kalimantan Barat, Borneo (Ref. 56749).
