Description: Characterized by pale yellowish with series of faint, dark spots along lateral line; pale yellowish rays on fins and translucent membrane; branched dorsal rays except first four rays; all anal rays branched; relatively long dorsal and anal rays, longest about 1.1 in HL; caudal rays 18; pectoral fins absent; lateral line of eyed side unbranched with76 scales, including nine anterior to upper end of gill opening; presence of caudal peduncle; ctenoid scales; membranous tubular nostril in front of lower eye not reaching edge of lower eye when laid back; ocular side of snout before base of anterior nostril with broad zone of cirri; depth of body 2.6 in SL (Ref. 90102). |
