Distribution:  Asia: Cauvery drainage, India.

Country info:  Known from Cauvery drainage (Ref. 4832). Occurs in the Western Ghats (Ref. 40976), Kerala, Karnataka and Periyar Lake (Ref. 43638). Also Ref. 41236, 43640, 43641. Status of threat: Endangered (Ref. 50614).
