Biology:  This species was collected at low depth (15-35 cm) in moderately clear water as well as in turbid running water over pebbles, cobbles, concrete of variable colors and sand particles using a 3 m diameter cast net with 8 mm meshes (Ref. 79562).

Country info:  Type locality, Senkhi stream at Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, ZSI FF4049 (holotype of Erethistoides senkhiensis, 3.88 cm SL, female). Known from the confluence of Senkhi and Chimpu streams, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh (Ref. 79562).
