Plesiops polydactylus Mooi, 1995

Max. size:  4.58 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 17 - 30 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Naviti Island, Fiji. Recently recorded from Tonga (Ref. 53797).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Specimens collected at an unusually deep site for most Plesiops species, at 17 and 25-30 m (Ref. 27772). Eggs are guarded by the male parent (Ref. 205).
