Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Taiwan.
Diagnosis:  Body in formalin yellowish throughout the body with black dots on the back; fins hyaline. Deciduous thin scales.

Country info:  Museum: Tung-Kang, Pescadores Is., IFB 101 (holotype of B. pescadorus) (Ref. 31443). Known off from eastern Taiwan Strait, off Taiwan (H.Ho, pers.comm. 02/2017). .Also Ref. 47843.
