Family:  Anthiadidae (Fairy basslets or Streamer basses)
Max. size:  15 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 40 - 200 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: endemic to southern Australia, from Western Australia to South Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs on the continental shelf (Ref. 9563).
IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated (N.E.) Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Known from Eucla to Geraldton, Western Australia (Ref. 7300). Also South Australia.
