Environment:  pelagic-neritic; marine; depth range 5 - 65 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: endemic to southern Australia (including New South Wales).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A schooling species found in bays over rocky reefs (Ref. 9563).

Country info:  Known from New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Autralia and Western Australia (Ref. 7300).
