Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: upper Cuanza system (Ref. 2801, 11970, 120641) and Chiumbe River (Kasai drainage, middle Congo River basin)(Ref. 11970) in Angola.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum TL was recorded at 7.9 cm (Ref. 2801).

Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Known from the upper Cuanza (Ref. 2801, 11970, 120641) and the southern Congo River basin (Ref. 120641) in the Chiumbe River (Kasai tributary, middle Congo River basin)(Ref. 11970).
