Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-11; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 8-10. This species is distinguished by the following characters: a distinct crescent-shaped bar present on the posterior edge of the pectoral base, it extends onto the base of the fin rays; scaleless head and predorsal midline; interorbital and postorbital trenches well-developed; fifth pelvic fin ray branches dichotomously twice (Ref. 118045). |
