Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6 - 6.5; dH range: 12
Distribution:  Asia: Thailand and Cambodia.
Diagnosis:  Lambchop-shaped black blotch on caudal peduncle.
Biology:  Occurs in ponds, pools, marshes and swamps with heavy growth of submerged aquatic plants (Ref. 12693).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 27 March 2011 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
