Max. size:  14 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater; brackish; marine, amphidromous
Distribution:  Asia: Korean Peninsula and Japan. Reported from Sakhalin and Iturup Island, Russian Federation (Ref. 26334).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-12; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 9-11
Biology:  Inhabits both brackish and freshwater and may spend its whole life in freshwater. Caught for food.
