Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: China and Viet Nam.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 2-2; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 13-15. Silver white body, with a dark gray strip in the side. Dorsal and caudal fins are colored gray, other fins colorless (Ref.33303).
