Family:  Zoarcidae (Eelpouts), subfamily: Lycodinae
Max. size:  21.8 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 2300 - 2630 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: East Pacific Rise and the Galapagos Rift.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Collected from the abyss along the East Pacific Rise at hydrothermal vents, and the Galapagos Rift (Ref. 11954). Minimum depth reported taken from Ref. 128331.
IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated (N.E.) Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
