Environment:  bathypelagic; marine; depth range 560 - 1690 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: Morocco south to Congo. Western Central Atlantic.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 22-23; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 21-23. No luminous organ on shoulder or body (Ref. 13608).
Biology:
