Family:  Sebastidae (Rockfishes, rockcods and thornyheads), subfamily: Sebastinae
Max. size:  25 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 30 - 200 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: East China Sea, South China Sea, Hong Kong, and from southern Japan to eastern Korea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabit rocky bottoms. Viviparous (Ref. 34817).
