Family:  Scyliorhinidae (Cat sharks), subfamily: Scyliorhininae
Max. size:  47 cm TL (female)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 274 - 457 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: Honduras, Panama, and Colombia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on the upper continental slope. Oviparous (Ref. 50449). Not utilized at present.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 21 June 2019 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
