Max. size:  16 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range - 55 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: near San Francisco in California, USA to northern Baja California, Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in rocks and sand on exposed coast at about 6.1-91 m depth. Feeds on invertebrates. Male guards eggs.
