Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range - 15 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Easter, Pitcairn, Rapa and Austral islands.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Feeds on mollusks, benthic invertebrates and small fishes (Ref. 89972).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 12 June 2008 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
