Family:  Pseudochromidae (Dottybacks), subfamily: Pseudochrominae
Max. size:  4.28 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 10 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: Christmas Island.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 22-22; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 13-13. Description: Characterized by uniformly yellowish olive to greenish yellow color of head and body; anterior lateral line scales 25-27; predorsal scales 13-15; depth of body 25.6-27.5 % of SL (Ref. 90102).
Biology:  Solitary. Found in fringing coral reefs in 1-10 m (Ref 90102).
