Max. size:  44 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Central America: Izabal Lake and possibly the Polochic River in Guatemala.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Males carry the eggs in their mouth (Ref. 205).
