Family:  Pomacentridae (Damselfishes), subfamily: Pomacentrinae
Max. size:  5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 3 - 12 m, non-migratory
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: known only from the Marshall Islands and Caroline Islands.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 14-14; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-13; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 12-13. This species is light green with a distinctive elongate dark blotch on the caudal peduncle and a large black spot on the upper pectoral axil.
Biology:  Adults inhabit lagoon and seaward reefs. A planktivorous species (Ref. 1602). Oviparous, distinct pairing during breeding (Ref. 205). Eggs are demersal and adhere to the substrate (Ref. 205). Males guard and aerate the eggs (Ref. 205).
