Distribution:  South America: Venezuela.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 6-6; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 9-9; Vertebrae: 28-29. Slender-bodied Poecilia species with a series of 10-11 well marked dark colored horizontal stripes along the body; gonopodium tip of males with a very large hook at ray 5 (Ref. 42987).
