Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6.5 - 7.19999980926514, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: streams emptying into lakes Edward and George originating in the Ruwenzori or on western Rift valley slopes; also in the Semliki River, above the falls, and in the upper Ituri River system (middle Congo River basin) at its closest point to the Semliki River, in northeastern Democratic Republic of the Congo and western Uganda (Ref. 59344).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in the shore regions of lakes and inflowing rivers. Not a seasonal killifish (Ref. 27139).

Threat to humans:  harmless
