Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: Sri Lanka.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 6-6; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 37-41
Biology:  Often encountered on reefs or rocky substrata in small aggregations (Ref. 106074).
