Distribution:  Asia: Kul river basin, Iran.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-8; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 5-5. Body short and deep. A row of small scales along the middle of the side of the body. Processus dentiformis absent, lips furrowed especially the lower (posterior) one. The 2 valves of gas bladder capsule are well united.
