Max. size:  25 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range - 146 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: southern Australia, from southern Western Australia to southern New South Wales and Tasmania.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs on the continental shelf (Ref. 9563).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 07 June 2011 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  poisonous to eat
