Max. size:  2.52 cm SL (male/unsexed); 3 cm (female)
Environment:  pelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Tamil Nadu to Goa in India.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in streams and pools. Adult females can grow up to 3 cm (Ref. 4832).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 01 July 2010 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
