Family:  Grammatidae (Basslets)
Max. size:  3.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 5 - 95 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic: southeastern Florida in USA and Bahamas to eastern Mexico and CuraƧao.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found beneath rocky and coral ledges (Ref. 5521). Also found in deep reefs and outer wall at depths from 22-69 m (Ref. 26938).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 22 March 2011 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
